Understanding DNS
DNS is the short form of Domain Name System, the DNS is used to connect your computers to server domain. The way that this is setup is by creating a domain name for your server for example: Harding&Associates.example. With the domain name and a direct connection from the server to the computer you could change the settings on your computer to connect to the domain instead of connecting as a work group.
